Your being alive today is a testimony to the fact that you still have "one more chance" to reunite with God if you have not done so.

It is so amazing to note that God is not begging anyone to change for good or for better or for the best. The Bible makes it so clear in Revelation 22 v. 11 as follow:

"He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is unrighteous, let him be unrighteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still."

What does that simply means is that no matter what you are doing presently, you still have "one more chance" to examine yourself pending the time He will come to reward you accordingly. Refusing to do so means you may end it up where you don't expect.

Zacchaeus got the opportunity and make use of it well. Luke 19 vs. 1 to 10 says,

"And Jesus entered and passed through Jericho. And, behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus, which was the chief among the publicans, and he was rich. And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature. And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way. And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house. And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully. And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, that he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner. And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold. And Jesus said unto him, this day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham. For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost."

What a privilege to take your chance when it comes!

Zacchaeus never looked at himself as a rich man but, desire to give it a shot may be, he would get what he wanted; and that is salvation. He got it on a platter of gold.

You may be thinking that you still have enough time to enjoy your wealth and riches on earth but, may be shock if today happens to be your last day on earth. Think of that rich man also in the Bible according to Luke 18 vs. 18 to 23 as thus:

"And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? And Jesus said unto him, why callest thou me good? None is good, save one, that is, God. Thou knowest the commandments, do not commit adultery, do not kill, do not steal, do not bear false witness, honour thy father and thy mother. And he said, all these have I kept from my youth up. Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me. And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich."

He got the opportunity to make it to God's kingdom but refuse to take the chance because he was very rich. You also is having another opportunity of invitation to make it to God's kingdom; don't allow your riches, your ego, your wealth, your business, your knowledge, your wife, your husband, your children, your fame, your position and so on, to deny you this "one more chance" to be considered a candidate of God's kingdom.

You cannot tell when that chance will be no more there for you. Take this "one more chance" and get into the family of God just as one of the malefactor nailed to the cross along with Jesus Christ did in Luke 23 vs. 39 to 43 as follow:

"And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, if thou be Christ, save thyself and us. But the other answering rebuked him, saying, dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, verily I say unto thee, to day shalt thou be with me in paradise."

Stop passing the bulk; take this "one more chance" to be saved. Stop giving excuses; take this "one more chance" to be with God in His kingdom. Stop complaining about situations around; take this "one more chance" that will give you everlasting enjoyment in and with God. Stop looking at others to make decision about your tomorrow; take this "one more chance" to avail yourself the opportunity that is so rare to come bye.

The malefactor refuse to look at his fellow but decided to take that opportunity presented to him, and he grabbed it well. When the time comes, those things you are setting your eyes upon will not be able to save you from the wrath of God. Your riches, your wealth, your fame, your position, your wife, your husband, your children, your business, your house, and every other things making it difficult for you to take this "one more chance" will not be able to defend you against God's wrath.

Take this "one more chance" before it happens, as it is written in Revelation 22 v. 12 that

"And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be."

When Jesus Christ comes as rightly said in the above passage, it may be too late for you to make that amend. Why not take this "one more chance" presented to you to be saved! This "one more chance" may be the last chance you will ever have; take it judiciously and make use of it to your advantage with God.
